so I've moved into the digital age with a new camera : ) and no longer limited to how many rolls of film I brought or how long ago I bought new batteries (woo for rechargableness)
and the best part of all of it, no more paying to do what I enjoy, film is expensive... so is developing it, even if you do it yourself... I totaled up my total costs over a period of a year of doing just b/w photography... and, including enlarger paper, film, chemicals... ect. it came out to almost $1k
I broke in the new camera with some experimental shots of some power lines and random things that interested me outside of where I work... I got a couple that I was pleased with...
I'm thinking I may do a portrait series on my lady-woman since yesterday was our 8th month of dating... I must compile ideas!
